This Credit Authorization & Consumer Report Disclosure (“Disclosure”) supplements our Privacy Policy and Terms of Use. It is provided by Finance ADRI LLC (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) in connection with the APPNAME website, mobile application, and related matching services (collectively, the “Services”). APPNAME is not a lender. Participating financial institutions (“Lenders”) make independent credit decisions and issue their own disclosures when you apply for or accept credit from them.
By taking any of the following actions, you authorize Company, Lenders, and our respective service providers and consumer reporting agencies (“CRAs”) to obtain, use, and retain consumer reports and credit scores about you from one or more CRAs:
This authorization is a “written instruction” under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (“FCRA,” 15 U.S.C. § 1681 et seq.) to the extent the FCRA requires one for the particular type of report or score obtained. Lenders remain responsible for their own FCRA notices (including adverse action and risk-based pricing notices) when they use a consumer report in connection with credit they offer.
We and Lenders obtain consumer information only where a permissible purpose exists under the FCRA and applicable state law, including:
We do not use consumer reports for employment eligibility decisions through APPNAME, and we do not obtain reports for impermissible purposes such as “curiosity” browsing or resale of report data unrelated to your request.
Depending on product design and Lender practice, you may encounter soft inquiries (sometimes called “soft pulls”) that do not affect credit scores in the same manner as hard inquiries (“hard pulls”). A soft inquiry might be used for prequalification or marketing analytics where permitted. A hard inquiry typically appears when you proceed to a firm offer of credit or complete a full application that the Lender uses to make a credit decision.
Multiple Lenders may obtain separate reports if you choose to compare offers or if your request is routed through a network. Each Lender’s inquiry may appear on your credit file according to CRA policies and scoring models. We encourage you to read each Lender’s disclosures before accepting an offer.
Consumer reports and scores may include, as applicable:
We may also use non-credit data you supply (income ranges, employment status, requested loan purpose) together with report data to route your request. See our Privacy Policy for categories of personal information collected and shared.
We disclose consumer report information to Lenders and vendors only as needed to operate the Services, comply with law, and enforce our agreements. Service providers must use data solely on our behalf and implement appropriate safeguards. Retention periods vary by record type and legal obligations; some Lenders may retain credit data longer in connection with servicing.
We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission over the Internet is completely secure; you should use strong passwords and protect device access.
You agree to provide accurate information. Errors in your application can delay matching or cause incorrect underwriting outcomes. If information in a consumer report is wrong, you may dispute it directly with the CRA that furnished the report; the CRA must investigate unless the dispute is frivolous. You may also notify us at [email protected] if you believe our platform displayed or transmitted incorrect data so we can review with our vendors where appropriate.
This authorization applies to the initial evaluation of your request through APPNAME and to subsequent transfers reasonably necessary to complete matching, fraud review, or servicing introductions. You may stop a new request at any time by not submitting additional forms; however, you cannot “undo” inquiries or uses that already occurred with your consent and in compliance with law. Withdrawing consent for future electronic communications is governed by our E-Sign Policy.
No guarantee of approval: Authorization to obtain a consumer report does not mean any Lender will approve you, that you will receive a particular rate, or that offers will remain available.
You may have the right to:
This list is a summary and not exhaustive. For official guidance, consult the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and Federal Trade Commission resources, or speak with a qualified attorney.
Some states require additional disclosures for credit brokering, installment lending, or consumer reporting. Company is located in Missouri; if you reside in another state, supplemental notices from Lenders or regulators may apply. We will update this Disclosure when we materially change how we use consumer reports at a platform level.
We may revise this Disclosure to reflect changes in law, CRA practices, or product features. When updates are material, we will post the revised version on financeadri.com with a new effective date and, where required, obtain fresh authorization or provide stand-alone notice before obtaining new consumer reports.
