Toggle19. Affiliate Marketing
If your blog attracts a good amount of traffic, you can monetize it by joining affiliate networks. Many bloggers earn money through affiliate marketing, which involves earning a commission when someone clicks on a link from your blog and makes a purchase on a partner website. There are also other ways for bloggers to make money.
To get started with affiliate marketing, you need a blog or social media profile that consistently receives a decent number of visitors. Once you have that, you can sign up and get approved on affiliate marketing networks such as CJ Affiliate, FlexOffers, ShareASale, Amazon Associates, and more.
Payment schedules and timeframes vary depending on the network you choose. It usually takes at least a month before you receive your first payment. For example, Amazon Associates pays affiliates two months after the earnings were made, and you need to have a minimum balance of $10 to receive payment. ShareASale pays affiliates on the 20th of every month if they have earned at least $50 in the previous calendar month.
The main prerequisite is that you have a social media profile, blog, or any online presence that attracts a decent and regular number of visitors.
20. Earn Money Through Advertising On Your Youtube Channel
If you have a popular YouTube channel with a dedicated audience, you can earn money through Google AdSense. Companies will pay you to display advertisements alongside your video content. This allows you to turn your entertaining videos into a source of income. Signing up for Google AdSense is free, but there are certain requirements you need to meet.
Setting up your account on Google AdSense is a quick and easy process. However, it may take some time for your account to be activated, ranging from a day to several weeks.
Payment is steady, but you need to accumulate a minimum balance of $100 to receive a payout. It typically takes a couple of months to generate ad revenue. Once you’ve reached the $100 threshold, payments are made the following month. The payment itself may take around 10 to 15 days to be reflected in your account.
To be eligible for Google AdSense, you need to have more than 1000 subscribers on your YouTube channel and be at least 18 years old. If you want to generate ad revenue through your blog, you must have your own website that has been active for at least 6 months.
